Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that the 16th European Carabidologists Meeting obtained patronage of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic, see attached: patronage. Tomáš Chalupa, the Minister, expresses in his letter his beliefs that our meeting will significantly contribute to the dissemination of knowledge necessary for sustainability of ecosystems. I believe in that too.
