The meeting will be held in the Krystal *** hotel and conference centre (www.cdms-krystal.cz, José Martího 2/407, Praha 6). The conference facilities include modern conference hall for up to 200 participants which will assure maximum comfort for the attendees. The hotel is located in the north-west area of the city of Prague which is typical with residential quarters and a lot of public green.
How to get there
From the Airport
As a result of the temporary changes the transport from the airport to the hotel is MUCH EASIER then normally. From the airport please take the bus line 119, which stops in front of both terminals. There are other bus lines operating from the airport but these will not take you to the hotel. You should buy your tickets in advance (reduced fare of 24 Kč applies). Leave the bus at Nad Džbánem stop, the bus ride will be about 10 minutes, depending on the traffic. All buses indicate stop sequence on information panels for your convenience. From the stop follow the map below (your bus will arrive from the left of the map) and on foot you will reach the hotel in 3-5 minutes (ca.400 meters).
Alternatively you may use taxi, we recommend yellow AAA taxi, the price should not exceed 250 Kč.
Because the conference hotel is very close to the airport, we will not arrange any pick up of the conference participants.
From the city centre
International trains usually terminate at Praha – Hlavní nádraží and some also stop at Praha – Holešovice. Due to the traffic diversions we advise you to use metro from both train stations (red line C) and go to Dejvická station – terminal station of the green line A. From there you should take the bus line 119 (direction Airport), 218 (direction OC Šestka) or X26 (Direction Divoká Šárka). These bus lines leave from the same stop, direction airport. Leave the bus at Nad Džbánem stop and follow the map above (your bus will come from the right of the map).
By car
Reaching the hotel by car may be relatively easy by using the navigation. However, we recommend you to use the southern outer city ring if you come from the west, south or south-east (D1, R4, D5, R6). It is longer but faster and safer. From the east and north-east (R10, D11), use “Jižní spojka” road. Those who come from the north-west (R7) just leave at the first indication to the centre. We wish good luck with crossing the city to those who come from the north (D8) (there is no outer city ring on the north). Due to constructions in this area traffic jams appear on daily basis.
Those who are planning to arrive to Prague via D1, the major highway in the Czech Republic, please be aware that this highway is currently under reconstruction so horrible traffic jams occur regularly at several places, especially on Friday and Sunday afternoon.
The participants are recommended to be accommodated in the Krystal hotel. It offers two kinds of rooms: Komfort (renovated) and Standard (before renovation). The conference participants will benefit from special discounted room rate for the time of the conference. The discounted rates (including breakfast and VAT) are:

The rooms will be booked on the first-come-first-served basis. Standard double rooms can be chosen with one large bed or twin beds. Apartments (2 p) and (3 p) and family rooms are available on request but not guaranteed. You can pay your room by card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express) or in cash in CZK or EUR, the money exchange is available in the hotel.
There is a restaurant in the hotel where breakfest will be served. The hotel restaurant offers buffet-type lunches (soup, a selection of 5 dishes, salat, dessert and drink) for participants of the ECM. Lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday is not included in the conference fee. Contrary to our previous announcement you do not need any reservation in advance. You can simply enter the restaurant, select the menu and pay on site. Other option is to have lunch in some of the few restaurants in the neighbourhood, but this will certainly be more expensive and will take more time.
Additional services: parkplace 50 CZK/day, garage 100 CZK/day, dog or other pet 100 CZK/day.
At the time of registration, please indicate whether you would like to stay in this hotel, the dates of your arrival and departure, the type of the room and occupancy. In case of double occupancy please indicate the intended person to share the room. We will make the reservation for you. The room rate and lunches will be paid on site at the time of arrival.
Low budget alternative is the campsite Džbán located ca. 500 m from the conference venue. This camp offers 4 persons bungalows, or you can place your camper or caravan there. More info can be found at: http://www.campdzban.eu/en/.
If you wish to stay closer to the city centre, feel free to arrange the accommodation yourself. Prague offers a wide range of lodging from student hostels or bed-and-breakfast to 5* hotels.
